JALways is a JAL subsidiary company.
It was originally founded as ‘Japan Air Charter Co., Ltd.’ in 1990 as a charter flight company. In 1999, the company’s name changed to the current one and inaugurated regular service between Tokyo and Kona/Honolulu. Today, it has grown to serve more than three million passengers a year mainly to Hawaii/Guam/Australia/Thailand routes.
On board, the cabin crew, which is comprised of about 60% Thai and 40% Japanese, work in perfect harmony, graciously seeing to each and every passengers’ needs with a smile and warm hospitality.
JALways operates B747 aircrafts. Japan Airlines International and its subsidiary companies execute maintenance of its aircrafts.
Japan Airlines International will continue to hold the responsibility of carriage of a passenger/baggage of every flight. Japan Airlines International will still operate some of the flights between October 1 and October 30. However, starting October 31 all flights will be purely operated by JALways although there will be instances when Japan Airlines International will operate flights from Manila to Tokyo by reason of change of aircraft. Flights between Nagoya and Manila will continue to be operated by Japan Airlines International.
We, at Japan Airlines International, promise to continue to provide you, our dear passengers, with our well-renowned top-quality service.
